One of the ways, we at Cambridge Interior Design evaluate the best use of space is to create a bird's eye view of the project by recording it's dimensions and positioning of any architectural features, windows, light etc.  We also take into account the amount of natural light coming into the space and how this could be used to maximise the space or perhaps be controlled in order to prevent glare, fading or whatever else may need resolving.
